Ibn Al-Haytham contributions to the Islamic Golden Age of Science

Sep 14.

The Ibn Al-Haytham Conference will be associated with an exhibition featuring the inventions, creations, light-related artworks and achievements of Ibn Al-Haytham and other scholars of the Islamic Golden Age. This golden era contribution – as the precursor of modern science and technology – is characterized by numerous intellectual breakthroughs that still hold enormous significance in the twenty first century. A prime example is the work on optics by Ibn Al-Haytham in 1015.
